We provide all-in-one solutions for the Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) that offer a geospatial catalog, map server and map client. The solutions are based on established Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) projects, open standard protocols and will be customized to the needs of different clients. It covers all aspects of the spatial data processing chain. From internal spatial information management, to online data dissemination and access, to content management and web hosting.

GeoCat provides local support and training to OSGeo software where appropriate. Due to our long and intensive professional participation in the geospatial open source software development we can serve as an interface between clients and key developers within our network.
GeoNetwork opensource
The founder of GeoCat worked for many years with the United Nations where he founded the GeoNetwork opensource project. Today GeoNetwork opensource can be considered the open source geospatial catalog application with implementations from project to national to international level.
